Lucian (Shades' Pride)

The youngest of three siblings of the Shade tribe, he was captured alongside his brother Aiden and sister Ceryl by the archmage Vestra, who sought to study and possibly employ the unique connection the Shades possess with the Oniric Plane.

When he joined the Strongholds he had no recollection of his former self, calling himself Cross and harboring the soul of his brother Aiden within him, but in time he regained his sense of self and with that the bonds that were once so very dear to him.

He fights alternating powerful magic and summoned weapons, courtesy of Aiden.

Upon defeat he bestows the player with his Discordant Ink, which allows them to call upon Gugnir, Lucian’s magnum opus as a magus; a radiant spear of light that can pierce even gods, and the only spell that ever surpassed Vestra’s defences.
