Obsidya (Land of the Gods)
Obsidya, formerly known as the Land of the Gods, is the southernmost location in Naluund, residing at its tip: surrounded by the impervious Chain of Mor'Gul, it is historically known for helming the Obsidian Empire: once that fell thanks to the reforms put forward by the Last Emperor, its lands united as the Obsidian Kingdom.
An extremely volcanically active area since time immemorial (the Massacre massively worsened the already bad situation), the inhabitants of this land reflect its harsh environment, being known for their intensity and good-natured boastfulness.
Sadly, the shadow of the conquering wars that gave birth to the Empire still looms over this people, and as such relations with others are often tainted due to prejudice on both sides.
Possessing such a unique natural environment Obsidya is home to many species that are extremely hard or flat-out impossible to find anywhere else in Naluund or the world at large: examples of such creatures are the Ashborn Beasts, Ivory Lizards and Legions; Naluundian Wyverns were also originally only found here, but the spread of Wyrmriders in the days of the Empire has made them a somewhat common sight across the whole peninsula.
Notable locations in Obsidya areinclude the Obsidian Stronghold, The Black Rook, The Sphyge Desert, God's Hand and the Ashen Fields.
