A little bit about Egoes
So, in the character summary we’ve talked about how most characters are related to an Ego, and even for those who aren’t they need to live with their existence.
But what is an Ego exactly, and how does it effect the story and gameplay of the game?
An Ego is a representation of one’s true self, but with a catch: each Ego is tied to a Oniric, a being of pure concept that dwells in the Oniric Plane.
A more in depth explanation can be found in the Setting tab, but as a TLDR most Onirics are born when a notable individual (think a hero, king, saint, legendary beast or even a group of people) spends his life upholding a value and, usually upon his death, this will crystalizes within the Oniric Plane as an Oniric: this means that most Egoes are the inherited will of someone who spent his life fighting for what he believed in, figuratively or literally.
